Vigilant Torch supports a unique subset of the Special Operations community and their families through holistic well-being initiatives. Our programs—ranging from mentorship and wellness programs to emergency relief and educational opportunities—are tailored to address the specific challenges of military life, transition to civilian life, and beyond. We provide personalized resources that empower and uplift, making us a trusted, essential resource for those we serve.

ABOUT US

Vigilant Torch was formed in 2009 to fulfill a need for connection and support within the Special Operations community. What began as a modest organization has grown into a robust nonprofit with an ever-growing corps of members and effective programs that are impacting lives.

Vigilant Torch is comprised of two organizations – Vigilant Torch Association, our membership arm, is a 501(c)(19) organization and Vigilant Torch Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization. Both organizations are recognized as tax exempt under the Internal Revenue Code.

Both organizations are led by a Board of Directors who work diligently to serve our members and supporters.

How We Serve

Family Support & Resilience
Provides financial support to programs that promote resiliency and family bonding for active duty members and their dependents.

Emergency Relief
Provides support to active duty members and their dependents for expenses not supported by other relief agencies and/or programs.

Mental Health Support & Community Building
The mental wellness of our members and families is our number one concern. Decades of war and non-stop deployment cycles have taken a toll on our service members and their families. The community bonds that our members and their families built over these challenging times break down when they leave service. Vigilant Torch is here to serve as their next community, as a way for members and their families to stay connected to their community and seek mental health support to cope with the residual trauma of decades of living in high stress, high risk environments.

TORCH Scholarships
Provides financial aid for higher education to eligible members and families of our select Special Operations Community.
